Eezi-Tip Skips

The Eezi-Tip Skip wagons were the W.G Allen & Sons (Tipton) Ltd version of the famous Hudson Rugga design.  This pack includes these skip wagons in three colours; black, green, and rusty metal 

Originally I made the skips with a tipping animation to load but it looked poor. I have moved to having “fixed” loads, as illustrated by the coal wagon, that can be used in Quick Drive scenarios and for AI consists. For other scenarios the loads are able to be added to the skips using the normal loading flyout method.

I have included a tipped wagon in each colour to replace the old tipping animation. There is a fuel bowser modelled on the Garsides one at Leighton Buzzard and also a flat wagon on a skip frame which can be ridden using the “5” key.

There are four types of minerals – sand, gravel, stones and rocks as well as the coal load illustrated above.  

Because the skips now have “bulk” loads it is possible to provide simple loaders. Skips can be unloaded ( when attached to a loco ) by moving them near the loader and pressing the “T” key or clicking near the loader itself. I have included the four mineral loads as piles of material between tracks and the coal loader is a coal sack. This means that any empty skip is capable of being loaded with any load.    These loaders can be added at route build or as part of a scenario.

There are also four wagons based on those at Poppleton Nursery which used to supply flowers to the railway and station hotel at York.  These do not yet have loads.
