Two more issues discovered by users and now fixed.
(a) the Ferguson TE20 download button didn’t download the file. This is now fixed and tested
(b) perhaps more irritating was the fact that I have had to issue Version 6A of the Southwold Wagons to correct a silly error by me that meant that the 3 plank fixed loads of coal and sheeting were all jumbled up. I have checked this and it works fine now. I really should have spotted this one as I use coal wagons a lot.

Two items following some very helpful feedback.
(1) Small update to the LMVLR route to address an issue in the TimeofDay files which used a sun texture that is no longer supplied in the default by DTG. I have changed the sun from my legacy one to the new one. Tested and no immediately obvious change.
(2) A much bigger issue was also identified. I made a schoolboy error compounded by a failure to check. The NG tracks I uploaded were not the tracks at all but the help file. I have now changed this and made sure that the download of the NG tracks is actually my set of NGTracks. Many apologies.
Other than that I hope the uploads have been OK.

The update of the LMVLR and all of its component assets is complete. The additional requirements that are not found on this site are greatly reduced and largely limited to some of the UKTS Freeware Packs and the Island Line by RSDL. A fuller route description has been written for the web site taht gives a flavour of the route. Videos are planned !!

The only remaining update is now the LMVLR route itself and all of the associated pages about the route on this site.
The Locomotives section has been updated to add new chuff sounds, better vacuum brakes and sounds, a new Lister model. These models have all had the improved sound distance decay added (Linear Squared) as have all the rest of the stock.
The rolling stock have all been updated with the exception of the Talyllyn stock ( for the moment ). The same distance decay effects have been added and new unloaders/loaders provided for the skip wagons and the Southwold stock.
Where needed all the Scenic assets have been updated with those not needing update been marked as such. This update includes many new assets, some small texture & model improvements. This is where the bulk of the work has taken place to remove the need for ex-UKTS third party assets on my LMVLR route.
The Vehicle section is new and contains updated sets of my existing vehicles that have had some minor texture improvements. I have added some Landrovers, some Bristol Buses, and a Ferguson tractor with implements. Again these are to replace third party assets that were on the LMVLR route.
All of the assets apart from the LMVLR can now be downloaded as they are ready for use.
I am hoping to update the LMVLR route section this week.

Updates to all Scenery Assets are complete and uploaded. I have separated out the vehicle section to a new top level menu. The scenic assets and vehicles are now correct for the upcoming LMVLR update

The update for the Leek and Manifold Railway has started. This will involve an update to pretty well every file available on the website. This is because this update is the accumulation of several years of messing around with all of my creations. On the LMVLR route the update is designed to remove all the third party ex-UKTS assets with the exception of the UKTS community freeware packs. Thsi means that the number of assets in my Asset Packs has increased and some have also been updated. New vehicles have been added and new track sounds created. At the same time I have also finally arrived at a steam loco sound set I am happy with after literally years of trial & error. This means that all the loco’s need updating. A new Lister paint scheme is also being released. The wagons have all had a makeover as well as the coaches.
So its basically a complete update.
Because there is so much to update I am probably going to start adding in new versions bit by bit with the final LMVLR route update being the last addition. If you are planning to download make sure that you check here for news and check the version numbers and dates of any download.

Lots of work ongoing to make the LMVLR need few if any ex – UKTS files. Replaced much of the 3rd Party fencing, all the vehicles, the ATTIX garden assets and many of the roads. The end is in sight and I am expecting to release an update which is actually a major upgrade. It will feature all sorts of loading points as I have been developing these as well.
The plan is still to release in the same way as before with the route as a set of files and all the assets bundled into my scenic asset packs. This will mean that almost all of these packs will be updated with new assets added or subtle improvements to old assets.
However, nothing will be so changed or removed that, if you are using my packs, your work will get affected.

Version 2 of the Houses Scenic Pack released. This updates the millstone grit textures and also generally improves some of the rough edges of these rather early models.

RMrailworks launchs with original UKTS files. The plan is to gradually replace these with the most upto date versions that I have been using for a while.
